How to create an Advertiser

Navigation: 

Go to the Advertisers module -> Advertisers list tab -> press the '+' button in the top right corner of the grid.

  1. Once the new Advertiser form is opened, start by filling in the General tab. Only upon saving the General tab, other tabs will become available.
  2. General tab
    1. Mandatory fields

      Field name Description
      Name The name of your Advertiser. Free text.
      Integration Type Select one type from the drop-down list.
      Gamoshi supports custom integration types, Server HB & Internal (=Tags/Creatives).
      If your custom integration is not part of the preset list, you can select the generic "open RTB" template.
      RTB Version For type 'Open RTB' and custom integrations types.
      Select one version from the drop-down list. 
      Advertiser RTB Endpoint For type 'Open RTB' and Custom Integrations.
      Enter a valid Endpoint URL.  http(s)://domain/path.
      For example https://bidder.gamoshi.io/r/bidr
      Bidder Name Only for type Server Header Bidding.
      Select a bidder from the list.
      Mandatory Bidder parameters Only for Server Header Bidding.
      The mandatory parameters for your chosen bidder will be displayed. 
      Show Non-Required Properties When this switch is on, the non-required properties of the Bidder will be shown as well.


    2. Optional fields (partial list)

      Field name Description
      Tech Fee (%) Fill this field, if the advertiser is sending you GROSS bid prices or if there is a universal tech fee that is applied to all bids.
      Score Default value=0. Range: 0-10.
      The priority of the Advertiser in the auction.
      When there is a '0' value, there is no priority, the sorting in auctions will be done by price.

      Send Supply Chain When the switch is On, the supply data chain will be forwarded to the Advertiser.
      Max SupplyChain Node The Max number of allowed SChain nodes. Requests with more than the allowed number will be blocked.
      (0= Disabled)
      Compress outgoing Request Recommended to leave true when the advertiser supports it.
      Advertiser Platform This field is for the identity resolution providers.
      If you do not see this select box - please refer to your account manager at Gamoshi.
      Max Exp For Banner (sec)  
      Max Exp For Video (sec) 1
      The max time the advertiser is acknowledging the billing event after the auction occurred. If empty/0 the system default will apply (~45 min). 


  3. Integration tab:

    For some of the advertisers from the presets list (custom integration types), the mapping required for the connection will appear under the "Integration" tab.
    Completing the details in the "Integration" tab is required to finalize the setup for the preset connection. 

    For any other mapping rules, if required, the mapping rules tab (see below) is available.
  4. Filtering & Targeting tab:  

    In this tab, you can add high-level filters.
    Filters and targeting at a Partner level will always override filters and targeting at the level of a Campaign or a Creative.

    Press the 'Add rule' button and choose a filter from the list. You can choose to include/exclude values for each filter. The full list of available filters appears in Advertiser's filters
    You can have any number of filters. Once done- press the 'Save' button.

    1. Capping tab

      Fill in the Max QPS for the Advertiser. You can also fill a total budget (not mandatory).
      The ‘Capping’ you will set here, will be relevant for all the Advertiser campaigns.
      Users can also set capping to daily impressions/clicks & spend.

      Zero (=default) or empty values equals no limit.
      The capping process may take a few minutes.

    2. Lists tab:

      Here you can view the associated lists, add/remove/pause associations, and create a new list that will be associated with the Advertiser.
      For the full list's types refer to Advertiser - Lists tab.
      1. In order to associate an existing list, press the '+' button.
        Choose the List type, name & mode (Blocklist/Allowlist), and press the Apply button in the opened pop-up window.
      2. To create a new list refer to How to create a list.
      3. Users can pause/remove associated lists, as well as edit the list's content:
        1. The Active switch (row action)  is used for pausing and activating the association.
        2. The 'Delete association' row action will delete the association with the advertiser. (The list itself won't be affected). 
        3. Users can add/remove data records from the associated list using the  'List data' row action.
          Note that any update to the list's content will affect all entities associated with it.
      4. All actions described here can be done from the Targeting module as well.
    3. Mapping rules tab:

      Here you can view the associated mapping rules, edit/pause/archive rules as well as update the rule's data records, and create a new mapping rule that will be associated with the Advertiser.

    4. Campaigns tab:


      Here you can view the Advertiser's campaigns (both automatic and regular).
      Users can pause/activate, archive/restore, and duplicate campaigns.

    5. Creatives tab

      Here you can view the creatives associated with the Advertiser.
      Users can pause/activate, archive/restore, associate lists, and duplicate creatives.

      Header bidding parameters


      Some parameters support macros as well. In this case, you will have an additional selection box to choose between ‘value’ and ‘macro'.
      If you choose a macro:
      You must add the relevant mapping rules to this Advertiser partner to support this macro. For full information regarding the mapping rules press here.

       

      1 In cases the advertiser is not sending expiration time in the response and a value is not declared here then the system default of 45 min will take place. Be noted that changes in expiration time should match the preferences of the advertiser. If the advertiser has an expiration value in the response and one is declared in this section , if the advertiser value is higher it will be the one being used.
