How to create a Campaign

Navigation: 

Go to the Advertisers module -> Campaigns tab -> press the '+' button in the top right corner of the grid.
The same action can be done from the Advertiser's details form -> Campaigns tab.

  1. General tab

    Once the new Campaign form is opened, start by filling in the General tab. Only upon saving the General tab, other tabs will become available.
    1. Mandatory fields
      Fill in the mandatory fields, and press the 'Save' button.

      Field name

      Free text

      Advertiser partner

      Select one from the select box’s list.
      If created from an Advertiser's form: it will be filled with its name already.

      Inventory/Audience

      You need to select one from the select box’s list.
      You can fill either the Inventory or the Audience field.

      Start Date

      The creation day is the default. It can be a future date - in this case, the campaign state will be 'Pending' till the start date. 

      ECPM$ (Only for advertisers with 'Internal' integration type)

      The price for 1,000 Impressions or video impressions will be relevant to all creatives associated with the campaign. You can override this price by inserting a price in the creative's level.

      The default campaign for the Internal advertiser has a default price of 0.01, which you need to change if you use it.

       

    2. Optional fields
      You can fill in any/none of the optional fields.

      Field name 

      Description

      Filter by Seat & Deal ID switch

      When activating this switch the campaign will only participate if the incoming requests have the relevant seat & deal ID's.
      Default: Off

      Inventory deal ID & Inventory seat ID

      The deal ID & seat ID that will serve as the filter to traffic. The default deal ID  is the campaign ID in Gamoshi.
      The default seat ID is your account ID in Gamoshi.

      Activate Day Parting
      (Switch)

      Off (Default): The campaign will run all the time.
      On: users can select which days/hours of the week the campaign will run. 

      End Date

      Users can define when will the campaign end.
      When the date is reached the campaign state will be 'Finished'.

      Total Budget

      A user can define the total budget (in $). When none is defined - the budget is unlimited.
      When the total budget is reached the campaign state will be 'Finished'.

      Daily Budget/Hourly Budget

      A user can define a daily/hourly budget. (in $).
      When none is defined - the budget is unlimited.
      When the daily/hourly budget is reached the campaign state will be 'Capped' till the next day/hour. 

       

    3. Payment events

      Optimization model

      Here you can configure the optimization model for the campaign. The Optimization model will determine how the Gamoshi's platform performance algorithms will calculate success.

      Field name Description
      Optimization Model  CPM (default) or CPC
      Min CTR (%) When CPC selected as the model: You need to define the minimum required click through rate percentage for an inventory partner's traffic to be included in the campaign. Default is 0.01%

      Payments events

      You can override the system’s default payment event for the Advertiser and/or the Inventory partners.

      You can view the full options for the payment events at Payment events.

    4. Pricing method

      Users can override the pricing method and/or pricing values at the system or the Inventory-side levels, at the campaign level.

      The Supply-side pricing will apply As default.

      When the ‘Custom Campaign Pricing’ is chosen, users can use the Post bid rev-share switch to control which method shall apply in the specific campaign.

      A ‘Pricing calculation Simulator’ is available as well, to help the user simulate potential profits for various bid floor values, before deciding on a specific calculation method.

  2. Filtering and Targeting tab

    1. Press the 'Add rule' button for adding new filters.
      You can view the full list of available filters at Filters 
    2. Press the 'Delete' button to remove an existing filter.
    3. When the Advertiser-side partner has High-Level Filters, they will be shown in the ‘Advertiser Filters’ section above the ‘Campaign Filters’ section.
      The Advertiser filters section cannot be edited from the Campaigns module.
      Advertiser high-level filters will always override the Campaign filters.
  3. Capping tab

    You can define the campaign’s daily capping including outgoing requests, budget, impressions & clicks, As well as user’s capping and device’s capping.

  4. Lists tab

    1. Press the '+' button on the top right of the grid.
    2. In the opened form you can select a list to associate with your campaign, or press the linkable 'Here' on the form to create a new list that will be associated automatically with this campaign.

  5. Audience tab

    1. Here you can view the Inventory side of your campaign. When an inventory side is an audience group - you can add/remove members to the group from this location.
    2. Select one/few/all Inventory members from the ‘Available’ column to be added to the audience group or one/few/all Inventory members from the ‘Selected’ column to be removed from it.

      If you cannot find an inventory - use the search fields available for both columns.
    3. Once done, press the ‘Save Changes’ button, and then the 'Confirm' button.
    4. An audience group may be connected to many campaigns. Any change to the audience group members will affect all of them.
  6. Creatives tab
    1. When the advertiser side of the campaign is of 'Internal' Integration type, The Creatives tab will be available.
    2. You can edit an existing creative or remove an association with a creative from the creatives grid using the row actions.
    3.  Press the '+' icon on the top right of the grid, to add a new associated creative.
      Select creatives from the ‘Add creatives’ select box. (only creatives associated with the Advertiser-side of the campaign can be selected here).
    4. You can create a new Creative and associate it with the campaign, by pressing the linkable 'New Creative'.
