Overview
The Creatives tab is where you create and manage all ad creatives (banners, videos, audio ads) for your advertiser. Creatives are the actual ads that users will see, and they must be connected to active campaigns to serve traffic.
How to Access Creative Management
For New Advertisers:
- Complete and save the General tab first
- Click on the Creatives tab
- Create and manage creatives as described below
For Existing Advertisers:
- Go to Advertiser Module > Advertisers List
- Click the edit icon in the Actions column for your advertiser
- Navigate to the Creatives tab
Alternative Access:
- You can also manage all creatives across advertisers from the Advertisers Module > Creatives for bulk actions and filtering.
- You can view and manage campaign-associated creatives from the Campaign -> Creatives tab
Supported Creative Types
We support three main media types with multiple format options:
Banner Creatives:
- Image: Standard image files (JPG, PNG, GIF)
- HTML: Custom HTML code for interactive banners
Video Creatives:
- Video File: Direct video file upload
- VAST URL: Link to external VAST tag
- VAST Inline: Embedded VAST XML code
Audio Creatives:
- Audio File: Direct audio file upload
- VAST TAG: External audio VAST tag
- VAST Inline: Embedded audio VAST XML code
Creative Management Features
What You Can Do in the Creatives Tab:
- View all creatives associated with this advertiser
- Create new creatives in any supported format
- Activate/pause creatives to control their availability
- Archive creatives that are no longer needed
- Edit existing creatives (except media type changes)
- Duplicate creatives for quick setup of similar ads
How Creatives Work with Campaigns
Requirements for Creative to Serve Ads:
A creative will only show ads when ALL of these conditions are met:
- Creative Status: Must be "Active"
- Creative State: Must be "Running"
- Campaign Connection: Must be associated with an active, running campaign
Associating Creatives with Campaigns
Step-by-Step Process:
1. Create the Creative from the campaign's Creatives tab:
- Press the '+' button in the Campaign-> Creatives tab and press the 'New Creative' link, a New Creative form will be opened. The creative that will be created will be automatically associated with the current campaign.
Or
2. Create the creative from the advertiser's Creative tab
- Go to the Creatives tab in the advertiser details
- Create a new creative with your chosen media type
Ensure Campaign Exists:
- Go to the Campaigns tab in the advertiser details
- Create new campaign OR select existing campaign
Associate Creative with Campaign:
- Open the campaign details form
- Go to the campaign's Creatives tab
- Add your creative to the campaign

- All active creatives in that campaign will serve during the campaign.
Creative-Level Targeting (Advanced)
Lists Management:
Just like at the advertiser level, you can apply targeting lists directly to creatives:
- Add new list associations to specific creatives
- Remove list associations without deleting the lists
- Edit list content (add/remove targeting values)
- Create new lists specifically for creative-level targeting
Note: All list management can also be done from the Targeting Module for centralized control.
Creative Filters:
You can apply filters on the creative level as well as the Country and Category filters.
Creative Duplication Features
What Gets Copied:
- All creative settings and configurations
- Media files and content
- Basic targeting parameters
What Doesn't Get Copied:
- List associations (must be re-added manually)
- Campaign associations (must be connected separately)
Creative Editing Limitations
What You Can Edit:
- Creative name and descriptions
- Targeting settings and lists
- Campaign associations
- Creative status (active/paused)
What You Cannot Edit:
- Media Type: Cannot change from Banner to Video, etc.
- File Format: Cannot change from Image to HTML within the Banner type
Workaround: Duplicate the creative and create a new one with the desired media type.
Troubleshooting Creative Issues
Creative not showing ads:
- Verify creative status is "Active" and state is "Running"
- Check that it's associated with an active, running campaign
- Ensure the campaign itself is properly configured
Cannot edit media type:
- Media type cannot be changed after creation
- Duplicate the creative and create a new one with the desired type
List associations missing after duplication:
- This is expected behavior
- Manually re-add list associations to the duplicated creative
Creative preview not loading:
- Check if media files are correctly uploaded to CDN
- Verify external URLs are accessible and working
