Users can associate lists in allow/block mode to entities in their account to Advertisers, Inventory & Business partners, down to a single Campaign or Creative.
A single list can have multiple associations with different entities. A list can be associated with an entity only if the list contains data records.
- Go to the Targeting module -> Associations tab.
- Press the '+' icon on the top right corner of the table grid. A 'Create an Association' form will be presented.
- You must select the 'List type' first to enable the rest of the fields.
- The available 'Entity types' will list only the relevant entities according to your chosen type.
The detailed entity types available for each list's type can be found in the table below. - Choose the association mode: blocklist (exclude) or allowlist (include), press 'Apply'.
- Users can add associations from the Lists tab as well ('Associate a list' row action) or from the entity itself ('Lists' row action in Business Partners module or Creatives tab in the Advertisers module).
When working in create/edit form of an Inventory or Advertiser - you can associate an existing list or create a new one from the 'Lists' tab in the form as well. - Pausing an association will effectively ‘remove’ the allowlist values (if in include mode) or the blocklist values (if in exclude mode) from the entities the list was associated with.
You can reactivate the association at any time. - Removing an association, will effectively ‘remove’ the values from the entities it's associated with.
Only the restrictions applied using the allowlist/blocklist, will be lifted.
The list itself with its content will remain intact.
