Audience

The Audience section is for creating and managing audiences (groups) and their inventory members. There are three types of audiences: regular audience, automatic (default) audience & virtual audience.

Virtual audience
Automatic audience
Regular audience

Virtual audience

  1. Virtual audiences are dynamic filters applied to the incoming traffic.
For example, we have a filter for all CTV traffic in the system, and a filter for all types of traffic in the system.

The full list of filters applied are:
    1. All traffic

    2. All Site video traffic

    3. All site banner traffic

    4. All in-app video traffic

    5. All in-app banner traffic

    6. All CTV traffic.

    7. All OTT traffic.

    8. All Native traffic.

  2. Virtual audiences will be built in real-time by the current traffic segmentation.
  3. Users cannot create/remove or archive a virtual audience.
  4. You can connect a virtual audience to an Advertiser in a campaign, the same as connecting the Advertiser to a 'regular' Inventory or audience.
  5. A virtual audience can be added as a member of another audience (automatic or regular).

Automatic (default) audience

  1. An automatic audience is created for each new advertiser creation, this is the default audience for the advertiser, it belongs only to this specific advertiser and can't be associated with other advertisers' campaigns.
  2. The automatic (default) audience will be connected with the new advertiser in an automatic (default) campaign created when the new advertiser is created.
More information can be found at the automatic campaign.
  3. An automatic audience is created without members.
You can add and remove members from the default audience. Members can be a virtual audience, audience, business partner, and inventory:
    1. Go to the Audience Module-> Automatic section.
    2. Press the Edit row action in the Actions column of your automatic audience.
An edit form will be presented.
    3. You can choose your audience members. Users can filter the available member types using the filter on the top left side of the available members' grid.
    4. Press 'Update' when done.

Regular audience

Users can create and manage their regular audience groups manually.
The audience group can be composed of all types of Inventory (HB / Open RTB / VAST/ Script), as well as business partners, and virtual/regular/automatic audiences. A regular audience can be associated with any campaign and can be reused in several campaigns.

  1. Go to the Audience Module-> Regular section.
  2. Press the '+' icon on the top right corner of the table grid. A 'Create an Audience' form will be presented. Fill up the audience name. You can choose the audience members now or later on. Press 'Save'.
  3. Once an audience group is created, you can edit the audience name and view its members.
  4. Users can add/remove members from an audience at any time.
This action can also be done from the Advertiser's form - Campaigns tab.
  5. You can connect a regular audience to an Advertiser in a campaign, the same as connecting the Advertiser to a 'regular' Inventory partner.

  6. To view associated advertisers (connected by campaigns to the audience), use the proper icon in the Actions column.

Be aware: any update to the audience group members list will affect all the entities/campaigns associated with it.

We support adding an audience (virtual/automatic/regular) to another audience.
an exception to this rule will be an audience that includes another audience as a member. Gamoshi does not support more than a two-level hierarchy for an audience within another audience.
