How to create an external Inventory (DSP)

Overview

External inventory connects your DSP to additional traffic sources beyond the GamoshiX Marketplace, including direct publishers, SSPs, and custom integrations.


 

Step 1: Create Inventory - General Tab

  1. Go to Inventory ModuleList tab → Click '+'
  2. Complete General tab (must save before other tabs become available)

Required Fields:

  • Name: Descriptive inventory name
  • Inventory Source: App or Site
  • Integration Type: Select integration method (cannot be changed later)

Optional Fields:

  • Business Partner: Associate with existing business partner
  • Max QPS: Query per second limit (empty = no limit)
  • Max Incoming Requests: Request limit in thousands (empty = no limit)
  • A-Domain Mandatory: Exclude responses without advertiser domain (default: off)
  • MRAID Filters: Exclude MRAID responses for all traffic or specific bundles (default: off)

 

Step 2: Configure Pricing

Set bid floor rules to control minimum pricing:

  • Rules applied based on priority (0-10) and granularity
  • When multiple rules apply, highest CPM wins
  • Create rule with bid floor amount and optional priority
  • Filter rules by App ID, Bundle ID, or Domain

Step 3: Associate Lists (Optional)

Add targeting lists for brand safety and control:

  • View, add, remove, or pause list associations
  • Create new lists directly from this tab

Step 4: Generate Integration Components

Access Integration tab to generate technical components for your inventory partner.

Integration Types:

Open RTB

  • Copy RTB endpoint URL
  • Send to inventory partner for bidding connection

VAST (Video)

  • Media: Video
  • Source: App, Site, or CTV
  • Options: Client/player or server-side
  • Select source → macros appear automatically
  • Choose SSP: Gamoshi (default), Spring Serve, or Publica
  • Copy VAST URL to share with partner

Header Bidding

  • Server-side: For prebid server adapter implementation
  • Client-side: Direct partner to prebid.js download (prebid.org/download.html)
  • Mobile: Contact support for mediation-specific instructions
  • Provide inventory partner ID from Inventory grid

Script

  • Media: Video or Banner
  • Target: Ad server or Web page/client
  • Select source type and ad type
  • Click 'Apply' → copy generated script
  • Partner implements script on their platform

Custom Integration Available for App source only:

  • Amazon TAM
  • Google Open Bidding
  • Iron Source
  • Pubmatic SDK
  • BidSwitch

Key Points

  • General tab must be saved first before accessing other tabs
