Overview

Creatives are the actual ads (banners, videos, audio) that will be shown to users. They must be associated with active campaigns to serve traffic.

How to Access Creative Management

For New Advertisers:

  1. Complete and save the General tab first
  2. Click on the Creatives tab
  3. Create and manage creatives as described below

For Existing Advertisers:

  1. Go to Advertiser Module > Advertisers List
  2. Click the edit icon in the Actions column for your advertiser
  3. Navigate to the Creatives tab

Alternative Access:

  • You can also manage all creatives across advertisers from the Advertisers Module > Creatives for bulk actions and filtering.
  • You can view and manage campaign-associated creatives from the Campaign -> Creatives tab

Supported Creative Types

We support three main media types with multiple format options:

Banner Creatives:

  • Image: Standard image files (JPG, PNG, GIF)
  • HTML: Custom HTML code for interactive banners

Video Creatives:

  • Video File: Direct video file upload
  • VAST URL: Link to external VAST tag
  • VAST Inline: Embedded VAST XML code

Audio Creatives:

  • Audio File: Direct audio file upload
  • VAST TAG: External audio VAST tag
  • VAST Inline: Embedded audio VAST XML code

Creative Fields

Required fields

  • Creative name
  • Media type: Banner, Video, or Audio (cannot be changed after creation)
  • Ad Size Filter – this refers to the size of the creative.

If the creative is a dynamic HTML, you can select the general size option called “Universal Creative.” This allows the creative to run across all sizes.

Just make sure the campaign’s Ad Size filter is set correctly to include the sizes that are compatible with your dynamic creative.

  • Creative design specifications (varies by media type)

Additional fields

  • Campaign association  - A creative will not run until it’s associated with at least one campaign. You can link a creative to a campaign either from the creative details or the Actions column, or by adding it directly in the Campaign → Creatives tab.
  • Advertiser Domain - recommended, is required by many publishers
  • Creative price -

You can set a CPM (price per 1,000 impressions) at the creative level, but it’s optional and should only be used when your operations specifically require it.

The campaign-level price is mandatory. If you set a price on the creative, it will override the campaign price for that specific creative.

For better flexibility and management, it’s recommended to handle pricing at the campaign level, not the creative level. This allows you to use the same creative across multiple campaigns with different pricing structures.

  • Creative score -

The Creative Score determines the priority of a creative during the auction.

    • Range: 0–10

    • Default: 5

    • Higher score = higher priority

    Important:
The Advertiser Score has a higher priority than the Creative Score. So if both exist, the advertiser-level score applies first.

How priority is decided in the auction:

    1. Different scores: The creative with the higher score wins.

    2. Same score: The price determines priority.

  • Tracking and Conversions section -
    • Conversions
You can create conversions and goals at the advertiser level, then associate a specific conversion with a creative in the Tracking & Conversions section.
    • Click URL
You can either define a custom click URL for the creative or use the conversion’s click URL if one is already set.
    • Impression Tracking URLs
You can also add impression tracking URLs directly to the creative when needed.
  • Enrich RTB Response section -

You can attach additional details to your ad so they’re included in the RTB response. These may include:

    • IURI

    • App Bundle

    • Ad Category

    • Creative Type

  • Filters section -

You can also apply additional filters at the creative level, such as:

    • Country

    • Category

    • Interstitial

These allow you to further control where and how the creative is delivered.

  • Frequency caps section - define user frequency caps and granularity.

How Creatives Work with Campaigns

Requirements for Creative to Serve Ads:

A creative will only show ads when ALL of these conditions are met:

  1. Creative Status: Must be "Active"
  2. Creative State: Must be "Running"
  3. Campaign Connection: Must be associated with an active, running campaign

Associating Creatives with Campaigns

You can associate creatives with campaigns in two main ways:

Option 1: Create the Creative from within the Campaign

  1. Go to Campaign → Creatives tab

  2. Click the “+” button and select “New Creative”

  3. Fill out the form
The creative will be automatically linked to that campaign

Option 2: Create the Creative at the Advertiser Level and Then Assign It

Step 1 – Create the Creative

  • Go to the advertiser’s Creatives tab

  • Create a new creative with the desired media type

Step 2 – Make sure the Campaign exists

  • Go to the advertiser’s Campaigns tab

  • Create a new campaign or select an existing one

Step 3 – Associate the Creative

  • Open the campaign details

  • Go to the Creatives tab inside the campaign

  • Add the creative to the campaign
