The Targeting module enables users to create global blocklists at the account level.
Global blocklists are handled in the Global Blocklists tab only. These lists are in exclude mode only and apply to all entities (Advertisers/Inventory/Campaigns) in the account.
- Go to the Targeting module -> Global blocklists tab.
- Press the '+' icon on the top right corner of the table grid. A 'Create a blocklist' form will be presented.
- Fill in the list name, select type, and insert at least one data record. Press 'Create'.
- You can update the data records manually or upload a file of data.
- There is no association step here since global blocklists are associated with the whole account.
For example: For a Domain type global blocklist, all listed domains, will be blacklisted for all Advertisers/Inventory partners, campaigns & creatives, in the account. - Users can pause/activate or remove a global blocklist at any time.
Make sure your data records are in compliance with the list type. For example: for a list of type Domain - all values should be valid domain names. Invalid domain names will be omitted as well as duplications.
The full list types and validations are detailed in Targeting/Lists.
