Geo Analytics View (DSP)
Analyze your campaign performance across granular geographic dimensions to optimize your geo-targeted strategies.
Content
Overview
The Geo Analytics View is a specialized analysis tool within the Analytics → BI module. Designed specifically for users running geo-targeted campaigns, this view allows you to break down performance by Country, Region, City, and Zip Code. By pinpointing exactly where your traffic is originating and how it performs, you can make data-driven decisions on budget allocation and location-based optimizations.
Note: This feature requires the "Geo Analytics" permission. It is enabled by default for Enterprise and DSP tier accounts. If you do not see this tab, please contact your account administrator.
Getting Started
-
Navigate to the View: Open the Analytics module and select BI. Look for the Geo Location View tab located at the top of the interface.
-
Configure Dimensions: Select your desired geographic granularity. You can group your data by:
-
Country
-
Region
-
City
-
Zip Code (Note: Zip code data is highly granular and may take longer to load).
-
-
Apply Filters: Use the filter bar to narrow your results by Time, Advertiser, Campaign, Creative, App/Site, or Ad Type.
-
Run the Analysis: The interface functions consistently with the standard BI experience, allowing you to view results in tables or charts, customize columns, and export data for external reporting.
Dimensions & Metrics
When the Geo Location View is active, the interface is streamlined to show only dimensions and metrics relevant to geographic performance.
Available Dimensions:
-
Time: Date/Time periods.
-
Demand: Advertiser, Campaign, Creative.
-
Supply: App/Site.
-
Inventory: Ad Type.
-
Geo: Country, Region, City, Zip Code.
Key Metrics: The following performance metrics are available in this view:
-
Delivery: Win Notices, Impressions, Video Impressions.
-
Engagement: Clicks, CTR.
-
Efficiency: Fill Rate, Avg CPC, eCPM.
Important Notes
- Filter Constraints: To ensure high performance and faster loading times, geographic filters (filtering by a specific City or Zip) are not included. Use the grouping dimensions to organize the data instead.
-
Data Quality: Location data is derived from supply-source logs. If a source does not provide specific coordinates, the system uses standard fallback logic to resolve the location based on the best available data.
-
Consistent Experience: While the available fields are restricted to geo-relevant data, you can still use all standard BI features like Export, Column Selection, and Chart Toggles.
