Advertisers module - general description

The advertisers' module is for creating and managing advertisers (buyers).

You can create and manage advertisers (buyers) in the Advertisers' Module.

An advertiser can be a Brand, Agency, Network, DSP, etc.

Advertisers can be integrated as described below:

  1. Custom advertiser templates are available for most major programmatic advertisers in the market.
  2. If the advertiser partner you are interested in connecting with is not part of the preset list in the main advertiser setup screen, you can select the generic "RTB integration" template to connect the partner.
  3. Server header bidding (prebid.org).
  4. Internal integration - for integration using Tags or the creatives themselves. In this case, you will have an additional tab for the advertiser called 'Creatives' that will allow you to insert your Tags or upload your creatives.

How to create an advertiser?

  1. Go to the Advertiser Module-> Advertisers List tab.
  2. Press the '+' icon on the top right corner of the table grid. A 'New Advertiser' form will be presented.
  3. First, fill the the 'General' tab details and press 'Save'. Other tabs will not be available before doing that.
    1. Mandatory fields will have a red line at the beginning of the area.
    2. Each integration type will have different mandatory and/or default fields.
  4. When selecting an advertiser from the presets list, you will have all relevant mandatory fields in the General tab and all default presets will be activated for the advertiser.
When an advertiser integration requires more elaborated mapping you can add it in the Integration tab, available after saving the details in the General tab.
  5. Advertiser's tech fee
If the advertiser is sending you GROSS bid prices or there is a universal tech fee that is applied to all bids, you should fill in the tech fee field (default = '0').
The percentage entered will be deducted from all the advertiser's bids.
Statistics presented in the Analytics module will reflect both the NET price after the tech fee has been deducted (=Revenue) and the price before deduction (Gross Revenue).
  6. After filling in the 'General' tab and saving, and completing the Integration tab details if exist, you can move to the other tabs in the Advertiser's details as listed in the following steps.
    1. Filtering and Targeting
    2. Capping
    3. Lists
    4. Mapping rules
  7. At any point after the creation of an advertiser, you can choose to pause it or archive it and traffic will not be sent anymore to this advertiser.

Connecting traffic to the advertiser

After the creation of the advertiser, you can connect your traffic to it. On the advertisers list each advertiser will have a 'Connect Inventory' button in the Inventory column. On creation of the advertiser, the 'All traffic' virtual audience, will be connected as default. By pressing the button the user will be able to add or remove virtual audiences and inventories from the advertiser traffic. For more details on connecting traffic to an advertiser go to - How To Connect Traffic to an Advertiser.

GamoshiX Marketplace

As part of the starter account, you will have a connection to GamoshiX marketplace buyers. On creation of your account, an advertiser representing GamoshiX marketplace will automatically be created in your advertisers' module with 'All Traffic' connected to it as default. If you do not wish GamoshiX advertisers to buy your traffic you can pause this advertiser.
