# How to Use Gamoshi Creative Studio

## Availability

Gamoshi Creative Studio is available for:

* DSP accounts.
* PE Enterprise accounts using internal DSP campaigns.

Creative Studio is enabled at the account level. When enabled, it appears under **Advertisers > Creative Studio**. If the menu item is unavailable, contact your account manager.

***

## Overview

Creative Studio allows you to create reusable design templates and associate them with multiple creatives.

A design defines an ad's appearance and behavior, including its images, text, colors, sizes, and layout. Survey designs also define the survey pages, answers, and user flow.

A creative is the entity that serves the ad. When you build a creative from a Creative Studio design, the platform automatically generates the required HTML.

You can create, edit, and preview designs under:

**Advertisers > Creative Studio**

Previewing a design does not make it available to an audience. A design is displayed only after it is associated with a creative used in an active campaign.

***

## Creative Studio Design Types

Creative Studio currently supports two design types.

| **Design type** | **Description**                                              |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Banner Studio | Creates an image-and-copy display banner in supported sizes. |
| Survey | Creates a multipage interactive survey or poll. |

***

## Design Sizes

Each design includes:

* One main size.
* Up to four additional supported sizes.

The main size defines how the design is built and displayed in the primary preview.

You can preview all configured sizes in Creative Studio. When the design is associated with a creative, its configured sizes become available for that creative. You can remove any sizes you don't need.

***

## Design List

Navigate to **Advertisers > Creative Studio** to view the list of existing designs.

You can filter the list by:

* Design name.
* Design Type: Banner Studio or Survey.

Select **Clear Filters** to remove the applied filters.

## Design Statuses and Actions

### Design Statuses

#### Draft

A new design is initially created with the **Draft** status.

Draft designs are still being developed and cannot be selected for a creative.

#### Published

Published designs are available for selection when creating or editing a creative.

#### Paused

Pausing a design prevents it from being added to new creatives. Creatives already associated with the design continue running.

#### Archived

Archived designs are hidden from the standard design list and cannot be selected for new creatives. Creatives already associated with an archived design continue running.

### Publish Switch

The **Publish** switch moves a design between Draft, Paused, and Published status.

This switch controls the design’s availability for selection. It does not change the version currently used by associated creatives.

### Design Actions

| **Action**                       | **Description**                                                                                                                                 |
| -------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Edit | Opens the design builder. |
| Duplicate | Creates a separate copy of the design as a new Draft named “Copy of …”. |
| Push Latest Version to Creatives | Regenerates the content of all associated creatives using the current design. This option is available when the design has unpublished changes. |
| Archive | Removes the design from selection while leaving associated creatives unaffected. |

## Create a Design

Select **+ New Design**, and then choose:

* **Banner Studio**
* **Survey**

You cannot change the selected Design Type afterward. To use another type, create a new design.

### Design Builder

The builder contains two main areas:

* **Form:** Contains the design settings.
* **Preview:** Displays a live preview that updates as you edit the design.

The preview displays the design at its main size. If the design is larger than the preview panel, it is scaled down, and the scale percentage is displayed. You can enable the "Preview sizes" switch to see the additional supported sizes.

Select **Refresh** to manually render the preview.

### Load an Example

For a new design, select **Load Example** to populate the builder with an existing example, such as Retail, Travel, or Brand Lift.

You can review or modify the example and use it as a starting point. The design isn't saved until you select **Save**.

### Design Actions

The following actions appear at the top of the builder:

* **Cancel**
* **Save**
* **Save & Update Creatives**, when the design has associated creatives.

### Testing Pages

After you first save a design, the **Testing Pages** section appears below its header.

Select **Open a Test Page** to test the design and review triggered events.

Select **Share Test Page** to share a link to the test page.

### Configure Design Sizes

For Banner designs, select the primary size under **Main Template**.

For Survey designs, select it under **Main Asset Size**.

Use **Supported Sizes** to select up to four additional sizes.

Enable **Preview Sizes** to display previews of all additional sizes below the main preview.

| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Name | Required internal name for the design. |
| Main Template | Required primary size. |
| Supported Sizes | Up to four additional sizes. |
| Headline | Main line of text. |
| Body Text       | Secondary text.                                                                          |
| Click Action | Determines whether the entire banner or only the CTA button is clickable. |
| CTA Text | Button label. The default is “Learn More.” Required when only the CTA is clickable. |
| Ad Label | A small label, such as “Ad” or “Sponsored,” displayed when **Show Ad Label** is enabled. |
| Disclaimer      | Small-print text.                                                                        |

A Banner design must contain at least an image or Headline/Body Text. It cannot be empty.

### Background, Image, and Logo

The background can use either an image or a background color, but not both.

#### Background Image

Enter an image URL or select **Choose** to use an uploaded image.

Use **Image Opacity** to control the image visibility. An opacity of 100% displays the image at full opacity and prevents the background color from showing through.

#### Background Color

Choose a solid color or gradient. A background color is required when the design does not contain a background image.

#### Logo

Enter a logo URL or select **Choose** to use an uploaded image.

### Layout Settings

#### Content Position

Use the 3 × 3 position grid to anchor the text block.

Select an adjacent cell in the same row to extend the content across two cells, or select all three cells to use the complete row.

#### CTA Position

By default, the CTA is positioned with the content.

Enable **Position CTA Separately** to assign it a separate position using the same grid.

#### Image Fit

Choose how the image fits within the design:

* **Cover:** Fills the available area and crops the image when necessary.
* **Contain:** Displays the complete image within the available area.
* **Auto:** Applies automatic image sizing.

#### Overlay

Select an overlay to improve text readability over the image:

* Gradient Dark.
* Gradient Light.
* Band.
* Solid.
* None.

### Colors and Styles

Select a Preset to establish the design’s base appearance:

* Light.
* Dark.
* Warm.
* Vibrant.

Enable **Show Style Overrides** to customize individual style settings. Overrides are optional. Select **Clear** to return an individual setting to its Preset value.

Available color settings include:

* Headline.
* Body.
* CTA Background.
* CTA Text.
* Disclaimer.
* Ad Label Background.
* Ad Label.

Available Headline and Body fonts include:

* System.
* Montserrat.
* Roboto.
* Open Sans.
* Inter.

The System font uses the font available on the viewer’s device. As a result, its appearance may vary between devices.

The following detailed style settings accept free-text values such as 6px or 1px solid #ccc:

* CTA Border Radius.
* CTA Border.
* Ad Border.
* Ad Border Radius.
* Logo Border Radius.
* Text Shadow.
* Logo Shadow.

### Banner Validation

The design cannot be saved when:

* The Name is empty.
* A Main Template has not been selected.
* The design has no image, Headline, or Body Text.
* The design has neither an image nor a background color.
* The Click Action is CTA-only and CTA Text is empty.

Validation errors appear at the top of the form.

## Build a Survey Design

A Survey design contains a sequence of pages. Each page presents a question and a set of answers.

Each answer defines the next action, such as opening another page, opening a landing page, completing the survey, or closing the ad.

### Survey Flow Map

The flow map appears above the form. It displays:

* The Survey pages.
* The answers on each page.
* The action associated with each answer.

Select a page in the map to open its settings.

A dashed red connector indicates that an answer has no destination. This must be corrected before the design can be saved.

Select **Hide Map** or **Show Map** to collapse or display the map.

### General Survey Settings

| **Setting**              | **Description**                                                         |

### Survey Validation

Errors appear at the top of the Survey form, preventing the design from being saved.

Common errors include:

* A page has no Question or no answers.

* A landing page or tracking URL is invalid.

Warnings appear in yellow and do not prevent saving. Examples include:

* The Survey does not have a Completion page.
* The same Custom Event is used in multiple places.
* A placement size may be too small for comfortable interaction.

## Update Associated Creatives

Editing and saving a design does not automatically update its associated creatives. Updates must be applied deliberately.

### Update All Associated Creatives from the Builder

Select **Save & Update Creatives** to:

* Save the design.
* Regenerate the content of every associated creative.
* Apply the update immediately to live creatives.

A confirmation message displays the number of affected creatives.

Select **Push Latest Version to Creatives** from the design’s row actions.

This applies the current design version to all associated creatives.

***

## Creative Studio Delivery

Designs created in Creative Studio are intended to run through the Gamoshi platform.

When a design is associated with a campaign creative and delivered through Gamoshi, it is displayed according to its configured design.

Creative Studio designs do not display when copied to another advertising platform or served independently outside Gamoshi.

If the associated campaign or account is stopped, its creatives also stop displaying.
