# How to create a DSP Campaign

***Availability:** DSP accounts and PE Enterprise accounts.*

## Overview

This guide explains how to create a DSP campaign.

| Score | Determines the campaign’s auction priority within the advertiser hierarchy. | The value can range from 0 to 10. The default is 5. |

### Campaign Score

The **Campaign Score** allows you to increase or decrease the priority of an entire campaign without changing the advertiser’s global settings.

The score bridges the **Advertiser Score** and the scores of the campaign’s individual creatives.

* **Range:** 0–10.
* **Default:** 5.
* **Higher score:** Higher auction priority.

### Spending Mode

Choose how the campaign should spend its available budget:

* **Regular:** The default mode. The budget is paced evenly across the campaign’s active hours to maintain consistent delivery.
* **Aggressive:** The system does not pace the budget and attempts to spend it as quickly as possible. Delivery remains limited by the campaign’s targeting and the QPS (queries per second) settings configured in the **Capping** tab. The default limit is 50 QPS.

{% hint style="info" %}
After completing the required fields, click **Save** to unlock the campaign’s additional configuration tabs.
{% endhint %}

### General Tab: Optional Fields

The following fields provide additional budget and delivery controls.

| **Field**               | **Description**                                         | **Default**                            |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| Daily Budget | The maximum amount the campaign can spend per day. | Unlimited |
| Hourly Budget | The maximum amount the campaign can spend per hour. | Unlimited |
| Day Parting | Restricts campaign delivery to selected days and hours. | Off; the campaign can run continuously |
| Deal and Seat ID Filter | Restricts traffic using selected Deal IDs or Seat IDs. | Off; all traffic is accepted |

* A **Daily Budget** is required when the Total Budget and End Date are not configured, and no Hourly Budget is set.
* An **Hourly Budget** is required when the Total Budget and End Date are not configured, and no Daily Budget is set.

### Configure Day Parting

Use **Day Parting** to define the days and hours during which the campaign can run.

The schedule follows the account time zone configured under the account’s General Settings.

* **Off:** The campaign can run continuously, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
* **On:** Select the specific days and hours during which the campaign should be active.

When the campaign is outside its configured schedule, its state appears as **Stopped**.

### Configure Deal and Seat ID Filtering

Use the **Deal and Seat ID Filter** to restrict the campaign to traffic associated with specific Deal IDs or Seat IDs.

* **Default Deal ID:** The campaign’s Gamoshi Campaign ID.
* **Default Seat ID:** The account’s Gamoshi Account ID.

Use this filter when targeting a specific deal agreed with an SSP, including premium inventory agreements.

### Configure the Optimization Model

The **Optimization Model** determines the campaign’s primary serving logic and the algorithm's impression prioritization.

**Reach**

**Reach** is the default optimization model. It maximizes the number of unique users reached by distributing impressions as widely as possible.

**CTR Mode**

**CTR Mode** prioritizes users and placements that are more likely to engage with the ad. The system aims to meet or exceed the configured Target CTR.

When selecting CTR Mode, enter the minimum Target CTR in the provided field. The default is **0.1%**.

**CTR Mode Requirements**

For CTR optimization to operate correctly:

* **Target URLs:** Every creative associated with the campaign must have a valid Target URL. CTR optimization will not run if any associated creative is missing.
* **Data threshold:** The campaign requires a warm-up period of at least several thousand impressions so that the algorithm has enough data to learn and optimize.
* **Target CTR:** You must enter the minimum Target CTR when selecting CTR Mode.

{% hint style="info" %}
For a new campaign, consider starting with Reach to collect baseline data. You can switch to CTR Mode after identifying the segments that generate stronger engagement.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Configure Additional Settings

After saving the General tab, you can configure the remaining campaign tabs in any order.

### Filtering and Targeting

Use the **Filtering and Targeting** tab to apply campaign-specific targeting in addition to the targeting configured at the advertiser level.

To manage campaign filters:

1. Click **Add Rule** to create a targeting rule.
2. Configure the required filter.
3. Click **Delete** to remove an existing filter when needed.

Advertiser-level filters appear in the **Advertiser Filters** section and are read-only from the campaign.

{% hint style="info" %}
Advertiser-level filters take precedence over campaign-level filters when they conflict.
{% endhint %}

For detailed targeting options, refer to the [**Filtering and Targeting Guide**](/gamoshi-wiki/general-information/advertiser-and-campaign-filters.md).

### Capping

Use the **Capping** tab to configure campaign-specific spending and delivery limits. See the detailed [**Capping Guide**](/gamoshi-wiki/general-information/capping-metrics.md).

**Available caps include:**

* QPS (queries per second) limit is available for editing only when the campaign's Spending mode is aggressive; it defaults to 50 QPS in this case. Impression limits.
* Impressions and Click limits.
* User Frequency Caps.
* Device Frequency Caps.

### Lists

Use the **Lists** tab to associate Allow Lists and Block Lists with the campaign.

### Associate an Existing List

1. Click the **+** button in the top-right corner.
2. Select an existing List from the available options.
3. Save the association.

### Create a New List

1. Click the **+** button.
2. Click the **Here** link.
3. Create and save the List.

A List created from the campaign is automatically associated with the current campaign.

For detailed instructions, refer to the [**Lists guide**](/gamoshi-wiki/general-information/lists-types.md).

### Creatives

Use the **Creatives** tab to associate ad creatives with the campaign.

### Associate Existing Creatives

1. Click the **+** button.
2. Select the required creatives from the advertiser’s available creatives.
3. Save the association.

### Create a New Creative

1. Click the **+** button.
2. Select **New Creative**.
3. Complete and save the Creative form.

A creative created from the campaign is automatically associated with that campaign.

Use the creative row actions to modify or remove an association. Removing an association disconnects the creative from the campaign without deleting it.

{% hint style="info" %}
A campaign must have at least one active creative before it can serve.
{% endhint %}

For detailed instructions, refer to the [**Creative Creation Guide**](/gamoshi-wiki/how-to-guides/how-to-create-a-creative.md).
{% endstep %}

## Campaign Status and State

### Campaign States

| **State** | **Meaning**                                                                                                                                                            |
| --------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Running | The campaign is live and can serve ads. |

| Stopped | Day Parting is enabled, and the current time is outside the configured schedule. |
| Finished | The End Date has passed, or the Total Budget has been exhausted. |
| Capped | The Daily Budget or Hourly Budget has been reached. Delivery resumes in the next applicable period. |

* **Campaign Status:** Active.
* **Campaign State:** Running.
* **Creative Association:** At least one active creative is associated with the campaign.
