# Creatives

*Available for DSP accounts and PE Enterprise accounts*

## Overview

The **Creatives** tab allows you to create and manage the advertising content associated with an advertiser, including banners, videos, native, and audio ads.

Creatives are the ads displayed to users. A creative must be associated with an active campaign before it can serve.

See here for a detailed guide on [entity hierarchy](/gamoshi-wiki/general-information/gamoshi-dsp-entity-structure-and-campaign-strategy-guide.md).

## Create and Associate Creatives with Campaigns

You can create and associate a creative from either the Campaign or Advertiser level.

For a detailed guide on [how to create a creative](/gamoshi-wiki/how-to-guides/how-to-create-a-creative.md).

### Option 1: Create a Creative from a Campaign

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Open the relevant campaign
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Navigate to the Campaign > Creatives tab
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click the + button
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click New Creative
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Complete and save the New Creative form

The new creative is automatically associated with the current campaign.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Option 2: Create a Creative from an Advertiser

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Open the advertiser’s Creatives tab
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Create a creative using the required Media Type and format
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Open the advertiser’s Campaigns tab
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Create a campaign or select an existing one
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Open the campaign’s Creatives tab
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Add the creative to the campaign

Once associated, active and running creatives can serve through the active and running campaign.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

On the campaign ->Creatives tab, you can edit a creative and delete a creative. The Delete action removes the creative from the campaign; the creative will remain at the advertiser level for selection in other campaigns.

## Configure Creative-Level Targeting

### Lists

You can associate targeting lists directly with individual creatives.

From the creative level, you can:

* Associate an existing List with a creative.
* Remove a List association without deleting the List.
* Edit List content by adding or removing targeting values.
* Create a List for creative-level targeting.

You can also manage Lists centrally from the **Targeting Module**.

### Filters

You can also configure country and category filters at the creative level.

***

## Duplicate Creatives

Duplicating a creative provides a quick starting point for creating a similar ad.

### Information Included in the Duplicate

* Creative settings and configurations.
* Media files and content.
* Basic targeting parameters.
* Campaign associations.

### Information Not Included in the Duplicate

* List associations.

Add these associations manually to the duplicated creative.

***

## Edit Creatives

### Settings You Can Edit

* Creative name and description.
* Targeting settings and Lists.
* Campaign associations.
* Creative status.

### Settings You Cannot Edit

After a creative is created, you cannot change:

* Its Media Type, such as changing a Banner creative to a Video creative.

To use a different Media Type or format, create a new creative. You can duplicate the existing creative as a starting point.
